Set Up Bolt for NMI

How to Integrate with NMI

1. Add Bolt’s IPs to Allow List

If you have IP blocklists enabled, you must add the following IP addresses to your allowlist:

2. Configure NMI Webhook

The following webhook is required for notifying Bolt about any chargebacks that occur.

  1. Contact your Bolt Customer Service Representative and request a unique Webhook URL.
  2. Log in to your NMI merchant account.
  3. Navigate to Webhooks.
  4. Select Create.
  5. Configure the following fields:
    • Destination URL (Prod): https://api.bolt.com/v1/webhooks/nmi/<production-public-id>
    • Destination URL(Staging): https://api-staging.bolt.com/v1/webhooks/nmi/<staging-public-id>
    • chargeback.batch.complete: Enable
  6. Save.
  7. Copy the webhook’s signing key to use in the next section.
  1. Log in to your NMI merchant account.
  2. Navigate My Settings > Security Keys > Add a New Private Key. add new private key
  3. Select generate a new API key.
  4. Select view.
  5. Copy the 32-character API key.
  6. Log in to the Bolt Merchant Dashboard in a separate tab.
  7. Navigate to Settings > Payments.
  8. Select Add NMI
  9. Add your Private NMI Key.
  10. Select Add NMI to save.
