Production Readiness

For Magento, and WooCommerce Installations

Please make a copy of the Integration Testing Checklist_v4 (Magento/WooCommerce) Spreadsheet

  • Run through all the tests cases specified in the spreadsheet. Optimally all test cases will PASS successfully. Some components or items may be redundant or irrelevant for your installation, simply mark them N/A. Coordinate with Bolt if you have any pernicious issues.
  • Submit the final spreadsheet to Bolt and request for production keys.

For Any other platform, and for Direct API Installations

Please make a copy of the Integration Testing Test Cases Spreadsheet

  • Run through all the tests cases specified in the spreadsheet. Optimally all test cases will PASS successfully. Some components or items may be redundant or irrelevant for your installation, simply mark them N/A. Coordinate with Bolt if you have any pernicious issues.
  • Submit the final spreadsheet to Bolt and request for production keys.

Bolt Review

Bolt will review the results of your test cases and may recommend making additional changes to your checkout. Once all changes have been made and everything looks good, Bolt will issue you production credentials and tokens

Follow the Integration Testing Checklist (https://docs.bolt.com/docs/integration-testing) for production to make sure you have everything to roll out to production.

That's it! We are ready to rumble.

Bolt encourages doing a handful of tests in both sandbox and production environments. To run a full stack of transactions in production, we suggest using a handful of low priced transactions for end to end testing to demonstrate the following:

  • Transaction flow from authorization, capture, settlement, and refund to ensure that the integration flow for transactions is setup properly.

  • Reporting in Bolt's dashboard to demonstrate transaction, settlement, and fee reporting. Since this will be an end to end test, we encourage placing a handful of small dollar value orders, since fees will be taken from your live settlements.
