Setting one-time verification code (OTP) Method Based on Device

The New

When a shopper receives a one-time verification code to authenticate during checkout, Bolt now dynamically sets the method (text or email) based on the shopper’s device (phone or desktop, respectively). This change makes it more convenient for shoppers to access and input the one-time code, which makes checkout faster.

NOTE

This logic only occurs if the shopper has not set a default method in the Shopper Dashboard.
