We’ve updated the Bolt for BigCommerce plugin to optimize the order creation process behind the scenes.

Using BigCommerce’s new payment API:

• You can expect fewer order creation errors.
• Orders are always marked as “Captured." In previous versions, payments were occasionally left uncaptured.
• Orders created via Bolt will appear as created by BigCommerce in the dashboard and no longer display the device the shopper used to create the order.

The New

Bolt has released One-Click Checkout for BigCommerce merchants. Adding Bolt to your checkout enables your shoppers to quickly move through the checkout experience with one click.

Bolt integrates with your Payment Processor as a gateway, so this processes requires that you authenticate your processor with Bolt.
