Add Shoppers to Your Allowlist

Bolt has launched a new Merchant Dashboard experience, which is currently in Beta. See this page for help documentation that reflects the new dashboard.


Merchants can use the Allowlist to bypass Bolt’s fraud protection services for certain trusted customers. This is commonly used for shoppers who routinely place large backoffice orders.

Orders placed for shoppers belonging to the Allowlist are immediately approved, not assessed a Bolt fee, and are not covered for fraud indemnification.

How to Add a Shopper

  1. Log into the Bolt Merchant Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Allowlist.
  3. Select Add Customer.
  4. Input the shopper’s email address.
  5. Select Add.

A green success message appears after a new shopper has been added to the Allowlist.

How to Remove a Shopper

  1. Log into the Bolt Merchant Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Allowlist.
  3. Locate the shopper’s row in the Allowlist table using their email address.
  4. Select Remove.
